A Little Blast From the Past [Retro Meets Retreat]

The Buckman neighborhood is touted as one of Portland's most beloved communities for its walkability and quaint turn of the century Victorians. It's also home to historic properties like old Washington High School, now headquartered by grocer giant New Seasons and entertainment hot spot Revolution Hall. In addition to dozen or more coffee shops and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, Buckman boasts one of the hottest close-in districts to get around by bike and foot.

A Ranch for Planting Some Roots [Sowing the Seeds to Homeownership]

I first met Tiffany and Cat at a particularly scorching Fourth of July holiday barbecue through our foodie pals, Brooke and Barrett. I knew friendship was inevitable after my first conversation with the newlyweds once I learned that Cat had an innate ability to identify literally EVERY mushroom west of the Mississippi (ok, east of it too) while Tiffany rattled off the properties and techniques of her latest microbrewing masterpiece. We became fast friends. Naturally.
